Welcome to Shooting Straight Radio podcast!! This program (formerly known as "Shooting Straight Radio Show" on WMMB and iHeartRADIO) is all about firearms, the 2nd Amendment, and all things pertaining thereto. It is hosted by Royce, a veritable super-spreader of Constitutional propriety as well as a firearms instructor with multiple certifications, including endorsement by the National Association of Chiefs of Police as a defensive pistol instructor. It has been said that he is saturated with gunshot residue, toxic masculinity, and a faint, yet wildly tantalizing whiff of the cologne of his people (Hoppe's #9) as he delivers his unexpurgated commentary on all things firearm and 2nd Amendment-related with 100% felt recoil and no suppressor. As an Ultra-Type-A personality, he is exceedingly generous (and sometimes comically brutal) with his opinions and doesn't mince words. A staunch Constitutionalist, he calls out infringements when and where he sees them. First, a look at the Florida where Senate President Ben Albritton, newly installed in his leadership role, exhibits his penchant for being a political butt-weed rather than an upholder and defender of the Constitution and the rights of the People, by denying even so much as an honest evaluation of an open carry bill simply because the Florida Sheriffs Association doesn't like open carry. “I trust my law enforcement officials, and that’s where I stand" was his pathetic comment.
So, I guess the free exercise of our rights here in Florida only happens at the whims of the Sheriffs Association?
Then, a look at another political animal in Florida named Randy Fine and his hypocritical grandstanding regarding the Marjorie Stoneman Douglas Act of 2018, one that he voted "Aye" for, but now claims he's going to rectify his mistake. Royce proves that this is nothing more than Fine's attempt to garner the vote of 2nd Amendment Americans, whom he poo-poo'd when their ire was enflamed towards him in 2018.
