Royce Season 11 Episode 687

Royce pulls no punches in this hard-biting episode about the shooting on the FSU campus and dispenses with all the post-incident rhetoric and exploitation of the dead that invariably happens in the wake of such tragedies, boiling it all down to what really matters during such occasions.

don't care. Just respond and know that the content is making a difference out there.
I really would appreciate that. Now, as most of you undoubtedly already know,
there was a mass murder committed by a disturbed young man at Florida State
University, Go Knowles, on April 17th in a giant,
target -rich environment known ironically as a gun -free zone. Oh,
Roy, you're just getting right on into that, aren't you? Yep, I sure am because the
gun control cartels couldn't even wait for the blood to cool on the ground before
they waited through it to leap atop the bodies and use them as their particular
little bully pulpit of disarmament. This incident hit a little close to home for me
because I have a very good friend in Melbourne whose daughter attends school there.
And as soon as I got word that there was an active shooter situation there on the
campus, I immediately called him and I said, Hey, just to give you a heads up,
active shooter on FSU campus. Have you spoken to, I'm not going to say her name.
And he said, no, I'll call her right now. Thanks for letting me know. Called her
and texted me back a few minutes later and said, she's safely at home and
immediately my heart flooded with relief.
And she said, she'll message you in a few minutes to let you know she's okay. So
I texted her, said, hey, no, don't, don't bother responding, excuse me. I already
got word you're safe. I'm glad to hear stay put and and the other well wishes that
we always offer anyway this that hit close to home for me it really did because I
think the world of my buddy there and his daughter is one of the most amazing
people on the planet out there she really has very level -headed hard -working young
lady and everybody that knows her thinks the world of her So, yes, this hit close
to home for me because immediately I had somebody that I knew there on campus and
that bothered me that this person was at the mercy of a killer, or at least,
you know, had she been there on campus. Thank God she had already made her way
home. I'm not sure if she made her way home during the incident or before the
incident. I didn't get all that information yet, but Suffice it to say,
she is fine, thank God, but six or seven other people are not two or dead and I
think four or five are wounded. And in the wake of this tragedy in typical leftist
fashion, the media and all the civilian disarmament cartels, as I said before, leaped
atop the dead bodies and began to exploit them as unwitting martyrs for their
communist cause of civilian disarmament within the United States. There's always all
kinds of cries that go out in the aftermath of this and the civilian disarmament
cartels always cry for more gun control, even though gun control is what essentially
enabled this slaughter in a very real way. But everybody begins to opine and begins
to become a post -incident expert on everything that went down. And to me,
that's disgusting. We should stop doing that, people. I unfortunately let myself get
baited by some of the idiocy that was texted out onto,
I guess, TwitterX, whatever you call it, from the civilian disarmament cartels. And
it made me live it as crap. And I'm going to share some of that with you here in
just a little bit, but everybody wants to come out and talk about everything, but
what the real issue is. And that pisses me off. It really does. Immediately. Oh,
well, the shooter's mom was a cop. So what? That doesn't freaking matter.
Does it? What matters is lawful American citizens were herded into massive gun unfree
zones where they're required to be defenseless victims and waiting for the next
tragedy like this. Yeah, this, I feel like I'm not beating my head against a brick
wall sometimes because you cannot penetrate the liberal firewall on some of these
people's minds with the facts about this. But you can't tell everybody you must be
defenseless in the of known danger. And I'm going to explain what I mean by that
in just a minute. You can't tell him you must be disarmed and unable to defend
yourself and, and offer your own safety and the safety of others too.
That's right. You must be unarmed for everyone else's safety. And that includes your
own, which makes zero freaking sense. Now, of course, everybody said,
well, this isn't about God's it's about mental health. Hey, stop with that knee jerk
reaction. Okay. Yeah. Mental health does come into play. Yes, even on this one. And
I do think mental health is an issue underlying a lot of these shooters, which a
lot of them lately have been trans people. I could, I could run that rabbit trail.
But the mental health is really not the bottom line issue.
Is it an issue? Oh, absolutely. It's an issue. And matter of fact, we've got word
from Abel Child that the Florida shooter had been subjected to psychiatric labeling
and medication. And he was also reportedly a recipient of the Safer Communities Act.
Yep. An article by Joe Hoft, a guest contributor, I believe this was for,
yeah, the gateway pundit, that was the title of the article. And it's,
the article goes like this, I'm just going to read a brief snippet of it. The
tragic irony in Leon County, Florida is impossible to ignore. The Leon County
Sheriff's Office received nearly $1 .5 million under the 100 million bipartisan Safer
Communities Act or the BSCA. I think the BS stands for something else entirely,
but I digress. Funding that was meant to reduce gun violence and invest in more
mental health. Okay, in spite of all those millions being tossed at the problem,
which is the standard Democrat knee -jerk response, money So we're going to pour
money on this or we're going to take your rights. That's their standard response. In
spite of all the money thrown at it, all the resources, all the new programs,
another mass murder by a scumbag with a gun has yet occurred again.
None of the laws passed in 2018 under the Marjory Stoneman Douglas Act would have
done crap to stop him either. So my goodness, it's almost as if gun control laws
don't freaking work. This time, the article continues,
the alleged shooter, and I don't read those names out loud on this program, was not
just any community member. He was a participant in the very programs funded by the
grant. A member of the LCSO Youth Advisory Council, that is the Leon County
Sheriff's Office Youth Advisory Council and someone who had completed multiple
sheriff's office training programs. Okay, but you know what? In spite of that,
mental health and the mental state of the murderer is really not the bottom line
issue here. The issue that really needs to be at the forefront here is how many
more predators attacking people in massive target -rich environments is it going to
take before the idiots in high places begin to mandate the hardening of these
targets, or at least allow people to defend themselves within these zones.
But right now, every one of those victims that fell to that madman's guns on April
17th was required by law to be defenseless against them.
They were obeying the gun control laws and they were the ones that got shot.
You're welcome for that. I mean, just this thing. After all, if there is an
inordinate number of killings happening in a single particular type of area or zone
in all of these areas or zones or locations, many of them thousands of miles from
each other, they all share identical characteristics with each other that enable mass
murdering predators to slaughter people with wanton abandon.
Maybe it's time to take a very critical look at this and harden the dad gum
stinking targets, 'cause that's the real freaking issue.
I'm gonna pull out a very well -worn illustration here, so bear with me for the
last 50 years. There has not been one single school child die school fire.
Do you want to know why? I mean in the United States, you want to know why?
Because it was mandated that the very antithesis of fire be pumped into pipes
throughout every room in the buildings on the school grounds. It was demanded that
sprinklers be attached to those pipes that are activated under certain conditions of
smoke and heat and then immediately begin to dump the antithesis of fire onto the
fire and therefore save lives. Now we've got a problem of people walking into free
fire target -rich environments with guns in spite of being told by a gun control law
that you're not allowed to carry a gun in here and for some reason they also
ignore the laws against murder, but yet, the answer is more of the same and make
it hurt this time. Make sure everybody is unarmed. As a matter of fact,
let's make even more stringent laws that the next killer will also ignore, but make
damn sure that there was a ready pool of victims and waiting for him. I mean,
This is, that is the bottom freaking line. There's no viable,
sensible reason that grown adults, many of whom are of legal age to carry a firearm
in Florida, are prohibited by Florida law from carrying their guns on campus. And
I'm gonna again reference my buddy's daughter because I trained her and he armed
her. So she went there Two, Tallahassee with a firearm and the ability to employ
her weapon correctly. And yes, I tell you what, she's a good shot too. But she's
not allowed to be a good shot on campus. She's not allowed to defend herself on a
college campus because why? Because a gun control law said you are required to be a
defenseless victim in waiting. That's why. The post -incident critics and the
opportunivores have, of course, jumped out out front in front of every TV camera or
news microphone they could, and began opining on where to lay the blame.
There's only one place to lay the direct blame, and that's on the freaking shooter.
You want to know how I know this? Well, let me ask you a rhetorical question. Had
that shooter been neutralized as soon as he began shooting, would this incident have
continued? Well, undoubtedly no. So if somebody was there able to defend not only
themselves but everybody else on that dadgum campus because they were already there,
they were already armed, they were already trained and they smoked that dude, would
the carnage have continued? Of course not. Of course not. So then where,
there's where to lay the blame then. You lay the blame on the person that caused
the incident, not those who enabled him, not on his mommy who had the gun that he
managed to get his hands on. And not on any of that. You blame it on the shooter
and you blame it on the government because the government is ultimately who enabled
this scumbag to have the success rate that he did during this incident. I mean,
profound, isn't it? I mean, without a shooter, there'd be no shooting. So if you
smoke the shooter, problem solved. And That to me is the ultimate bottom line.
That's the ultimate thing we should be worried about, is next time one of these
guys comes in and starts popping off, how quickly can we smoke this dude? That's
what needs to be asked. Not, where'd he get the gun? Yeah, we'll talk about those
distractions here in just a second.
Because obviously, the rest of the attendees of the intended victims being unarmed
did not stop the shooter. So helplessness obviously doesn't work very well, does it?
You got other purposeful distractions that are proffered in the wake of these things
with questions like, where'd he get the gun? I'll tell you right now, when he pulls
it out and starts shooting people, that doesn't freaking matter, does it? The only
thing that matters is how quickly can this threat be stopped? How quickly can this
mad dog be put down? That's the only thing that matters. You can sit there an old
pine and armchair quarterback at the end of it, but it doesn't freaking matter at
all. What matters is, hey, this guy stood up, tried to kill people. Another good
person with a gun smoked him real quick, put a bullet right through his eyeball and
dropped him like a sack of is right there on the spot. That's all that matters.
Where did he get the gun? Doesn't freaking matter. Evil people are not stupid. They
can always find ways to acquire one even if a law says they can't have one. It's
shocking how people who have no problem violating the laws against murder,
it's shocking that people don't understand that they don't care, obviously, about gun
control laws too. I mean, I know this is a lot of profundity hitting you all at
the same time here, but dang it, man. By the way, questions like that,
where'd you get the gun? Those are usually distractionary questions. Those are things
that are lead -ins to discussing more gun control as being the only solution the
incidents like this. So that's why they always ask that, where'd he get the gun?
Well, we need a law that makes it harder for him to get it. Doesn't matter. He'll
break that law too, because he's willing to break the law against murder. So I
don't think he gives half a crap in an East wind about a gun control law. You?
This also a way to divert the conversation away from the facts and into an area
where only supposition and assumption rule the day, 'cause they start to say, well,
what if this and what if that, they just stop all that. It boils down to shut the
gun -free zones off. Make sure that there are never again any other gun -free zones
anywhere throughout the entire United States and this crap will evaporate like fog on
a hot Florida July morning. That's all that really matters
You know, why are grown adults who are born with the right to keep and bear arms?
Why are they being forbidden from doing that on Florida's most violent campus?
Oh, you didn't know that, did you? Yep, FSU ranks as the most violent Florida
college campus.
And this is a known threat, people. And yet, People are required to be defenseless
victims and waiting in spite of this being a high crime area. I mean,
it's like sawing the horns off of Kate Buffalo to keep them safe from lions.
That's really what it comes down to. The only facts that matter in a case like
this is an evil person with a gun broke a lot of laws. Yep. But he killed and
wounded multiple people, so obviously laws cannot stop such violence.
Not only that, a lot of innocent citizens obeyed gun control laws that told them
they were required to be unarmed and defenseless victims and waiting, and that to
killers mercy. The results of gun control are always deadly and predictable.
I can't say that enough. I can't stress that enough that gun control kills, because
when it comes down to it, there's really only three options that are being offered
out there and proposed for security against such mass murder, two of which obviously
don't work. 'Cause first, hey, let's disarm everybody. That'll work. Well, it doesn't
work. It only works for the government and all of its thugs, not to mention the
street thugs and violent criminals and it enables them to pray upon the week.
Second, you could assign a cop to every 50 square yards on the campus, which is
cost prohibitive. Yeah. Third, you could simply let people arm themselves to defend
themselves, which by the way has a proven track record. A proven track record.
And you let people simply defend themselves with a firearm, it's amazing how things
change. And that, there are multiple incidents proven that bear this out.
We're going to take a brief commercial time out, don't go anywhere, we got a lot
more to go here on shooting straight, we're discussing the FSU shooting, so be right

Let's create your musical identity. Thank you. Welcome back to the program,
we are talking about the elephant in the room, of course, the shooting at the
massive gunfree zone known as Florida State University, which is also the university
in Florida that enjoys the not so coveted reputation of being the one with the
highest violent crime rate. So a scumbag took advantage of unarmed people who were
forced to be unarmed by a gun control law, they obeyed a gun control law while he
didn't and they're the ones that suffered because gun control kills. And that's why
I'd like to ask the Florida legislature, why are people on Florida college campuses
required to be defenseless victims and waiting in the face of danger like this? Why?
Yeah, you've been poked and prodded And we have demanded that you take the cuffs
off and you let people arm themselves to defend themselves on college campuses. These
are grown adults, 18 to 21 years old. They're perfectly able to defend themselves.
All of the things that are supposed by the leftist that will happen, never do
happen. They think that the blood is just going to run the halls at FSU and that's
not what's going to happen. It never has happened. I mean, when Florida here was
about to pass permitless concealed carry, and don't you dare call it constitutional
carry because it's not, but when they were about to pass that it was prognosticated
and predicted by the gun control cartels that the streets in Florida would run red
with blood. Okay, how many of my fellow Floridians out there are slipping on blood
as they walk down the sidewalk? Of course, that was a rhetorical question. So then,
if you lift the cuffs off of people to let them defend themselves, the only people
that that, You know, impacts negatively are evil people,
whether they be the ones with the gun or the ones with the pins that write the
gun control laws. Now, you got to also consider that when it comes to stopping a
murderer with a gun that mandated defenselessness fails 100 % of the time. Fighting
back is the only thing that gives anybody an exponentially greater chance of
survival. Now, I really love the fact that we have a president who stands up
against the shrill cries for, "We need more gun control in the wake of things like
this," and President Trump shut them down when they tried to, you know,
talk that crap to him. In an article by Darlene Superville, the title of it is,
"Trump says shooting is a shame, but he won't be advocating for any new gun
legislation. Thank God, because, you know, the former president,
the fraudulently installed one, and his predecessor, Obama, would gleefully have leaped
in front of cameras and used this situation to wring every ounce of emotion out in
an effort to pass more gun control it wouldn't have done anything to stop the
incident in the first place. But the article goes like this. When asked about shoot
the shooting, President Trump said it's a shame and he's right. It's a shame.
Adding that he knew the school and the area very well. But Trump suggested he would
not be advocating for any new gun legislation saying the gun doesn't do the
shooting. the people do. Speaking to reporters in the Oval Office,
Trump called himself a big advocate of the Second Amendment and the right to bear
arms. And he said this, and this statement right here says,
it just speaks volumes about him coming into his constitutional own.
He said, "I have an obligation to protect the second amendment. Glory to God,
hallelujah, and shame on the devil. I wish every elected official in America today
could say that with the same conviction because that is elected officials duties.
They are required and they do have an obligation to protect the second amendment.
They took an oath that they would do it. They took an oath to uphold and defend
it just like President Trump did, but he's the only one, it seems, that is out
front going, I'm not gonna attack people's right to keep and bear arms. They have a
right to keep and bear arms. They didn't have the right to keep and bear arms in
this gun -free zone, and look what happened. Because gun control kills. Amen, Mr.
President, amen. Amen to that. Everything you said, you have an obligation to protect
the Second Amendment. Yep, Amen. You know what? All of us do. That's why I do what
I'm doing, to protect and uphold and defend the Second Amendment. But then you have
pathetic responses like those from the Giffords group. Oh, what slimy people,
really.
They're about to trip over my tongue here. They're opportunivores.
That's what they are. They're vultures. They're the kind of people that just exploit
dead kids. That's what they do. The Giffords posted on Twitter, X,
whatever you want to call it. What Florida doesn't have universal background checks,
assault weapons restrictions, large capacity magazine bans. What Florida does have the
to school shooting in America. You disgusting pigs, you disgusting evil political
vultures, that you could issue a statement like that to use a tragedy like this to
score political points, you are slimy, you are disgusting people. My word.
We have laws against shooting people and committing murder. Those laws didn't work,
did they? So laws didn't seem to stop the bad guy. A law said he wasn't allowed
to carry a gun on campus, but that didn't work either. You know what else we have
here, Giffords? We have a deep loathing for such vultures like you, excruciatingly
stupid, morally dyslexic people and all the civilian car tells because as far as you
two -legged buckets of filth are concerned, dead kids are nothing but objects to be
exploited for political gain. Your precious little universal background checks would
not have stopped this. The shooter didn't use an assault weapon. He used a shotgun
and a handgun, probably a Remington 870, and a Glock handgun because he got them
from his mom who was a cop. Wouldn't have mattered if there was an assault weapons
ban, okay? He didn't possess any so -called large capacity magazines during the
shooting either. You civilian disarmament cartels, you're either excruciatingly stupid
and unable to employ even a smattering of deductive reasoning, or you're part of a
larger effort to disarm us, or you're overtly satanic, and none of those is
acceptable, okay? because we don't allow the stupid and the willfully ignorant among
us to dictate the free exercise of our rights to us. We do not allow ourselves to
be have our rights infringed simply because the actions of a madman took place on a
college campus. Yeah, the free exercise of our rights does not, it's not contingent
upon the deeds of the lawless, okay? We refuse to allow ourselves to be preyed upon
by evil people, whether on the streets, in our homes, or on social media in the
aftermath of yet another tragedy enabled by a gun control law. And we refuse to
give up our arms to known domestic enemies of the Constitution, that is, Democrat
-Communist, okay? We all know that the day we do, you Democrats will immediately
begin to act out your own twisted murderous fantasies of killing off conservatives in
an orgy of slaughter in one massive gun -free zone formerly known as the United
States. We know who you are. We know what you are. We know what you want to do
to us and it ain't ever gonna freaking happen. We need to shut down this gun -free
zone crap because all it does is demand that innocent people be defenseless victims
and waiting in the face of known danger and accept slaughter by evil people while
they're waiting for the good guys with the guns to show up. That's just like they
pump the water into schools to put out fires and they have those sprinkler systems
at FSU by the way. How about we pump in the antithesis of a bad guy with a gun,
have a bunch of good guys and good girls with guns that drop that dude the minute
he yanks a gun out and starts popping off because that is the bottom line that is
the only thing that shuts down these scumbags stay armed up stay trained up you
never know when you might find yourself in one of these shooting situations you
better start thinking about this now take some classes from some uh, instructors,
uh, get yourself some classes that put you through some stressors because operating
under stress is not easy with a firearm. And yet you are 100 % responsible for
everything that happens with that firearm. Never forget that. And never forget that
incoming rounds always have the right of way. Royce out.
