Shooting Straight Radio
Welcome to Shooting Straight Radio podcast!! This program (formerly known as "Shooting Straight Radio Show" on WMMB and iHeartRADIO) is all about firearms, the 2nd Amendment, and all things pertaining thereto. It is hosted by Royce, a veritable super-spreader of Constitutional propriety as well as a firearms instructor with multiple certifications, including endorsement by the National Association of Chiefs of Police as a defensive pistol instructor. It has been said that he is saturated with gunshot residue, toxic masculinity, and a faint, yet wildly tantalizing whiff of the cologne of his people (Hoppe's #9) as he delivers his unexpurgated commentary on all things firearm and 2nd Amendment-related with 100% felt recoil and no suppressor. As an Ultra-Type-A personality, he is exceedingly generous (and sometimes comically brutal) with his opinions and doesn't mince words. A staunch Constitutionalist, he calls out infringements when and where he sees them. Royce is often joined on the program by special guests like Dale Comstock (DELTA Force), John Rea (SEAL Team 6), Max Mullen (Army Ranger), Quentin Carter (a.k.a. "Q"), Gary O'Neal (American Warrior), Boon Benton (USMC, Benghazi warrior), Sarah "Superbad" Adams (CIA Target Analyst), Col. Danny McKnight (Black Hawk Down), Izzy Matos (USMC combat vet), Ash Hess (U.S. Army combat veteran and instructor extraordinaire), Massad Ayoob, Hank Hayes (Professor Emeritus of Badassology), Spike Cohen (spikecohen.com), ATF whistleblower Peter Forcelli, Erich Pratt and Luis Valdes of GOA, and many more. So tune in to Shooting Straight (a.k.a. 2nd Amendment University) and share it around with your fellow Constitutionalists. Keep your head on a swivel, keep a loaded gun on your person (and spare mags), and never forget that incoming rounds always have the right-of-way.

Gun Control Creates Lawless Cops
A stern address to law enforcement around the nation, but especially in the blue states and cities, as Royce gives glaring examples (like Chicago cops arresting innocent black Americans for illegal gun possession,...even though they had valid FOID cards and CCL's!!) of how gun control corrupts cops who aren't mentally and morally strong enough to honor their oath to uphold and defend the Constitution.

tune in, let's go.
Roy's Bartlett, the keeper in the bearer of truth we know.
Only the facts about the Second Amendment. And never ever forget that all gun
control balls are nothing less that novert acts of aggression against the American
people and their rights. Exercise your rights in a safe way. Stupidity to think that
someone hell -bent on violating the law against murder will magically be stopped by a
gun control law. Politicians that infringe on our God given rights,
he calls them out, he's not here to play. So turn it on to the end,
crank it up.

also don't forget that all guns and ammo in Florida are tax -free,
sales tax -free, until December 31st of this year.
So, get down to see my sponsors that sponsor this program, which is most of the
gun stores in Brevard County. And make sure you tell them you heard about them on
the Shooting Straight Radio podcast. When you go in there to buy you some guns and
ammo, sales Tax -free. All right, let's dive into this thing.
I am one of those people that often will sit there and ruminate on things and chew
on them. And really, I wouldn't say meditate necessarily, even though I do some of
that. I really sit there and chew on certain issues and really get down deep into
them. And the dynamics of them. I have gun control,
of course, being one of them. It's something that I've often really dug deep into
the attitudes necessary to want gun control.
And I don't care who says what. It's never about public safety. Don't tell me that
lie. Don't tell me if you're pro gun control that you're a pro public safety
because The fact of the matter is, gun control does nothing but engender lawlessness.
Not just in the street criminals, but also in the criminals in high places,
as you've heard me say before. That is government criminals, and yes, they're
enforcers. Mm -hmm. Oh, there you go, Royce. Starting the program off just beating up
on cops. Nope, Nope, not as a whole, but I am going to target many police officers
in this episode, especially those, or primarily those, I should say,
in all of the heavily gun -controlled areas of the United States, which are also,
without fail, all blue states and blue cities. In other words, communist -occupied
territories of the United States. Now, one of the entries into gun control that
states like to jump into is licensing, because as soon as they demand a license to
exercise your right, they control your right and the free exercise thereof.
You must go to them, hat in hand, and say, if it please the crown, may I freely
exercise a right that I was born with. That's really what it boils down to if you
really think about it. Licensing our rights is a criminal act. Let's go ahead and
put it right down there where it needs to be. Licensing your rights back to you is
a criminal act. It is a violation of our supreme law.
And when I say our supreme law, obviously I mean that it enjoys supremacy over all
other laws in the country. Any law that does not square itself with the Constitution
and the Bill of Rights is an illegal law, and all enactment and enforcement thereof
is illegal. I want you to look at it with the same jaundiced eye as you would,
the act of murder. Come on, Royce, man, infringement, it's not quite murder. You
want to bet me on that? You know how many murders gun control has enabled?
Every mass shooting in America was because of a gun control law that transformed
entire schools and other places into target -rich free fire zones and everybody in
there is required to be a defenseless victim in waiting. What does that do? That
enables murder. Now you want to tell me the people that enable murder are somehow
less culpable than the people who actually commit it? Not on your life. You are
just as culpable. You have enabled it. And the coddling that's going on of criminals
in many places throughout this country right now is sickening beyond measure but
they're being coddled by their fellow criminals all right so it's really galling that
we have to buy licenses not just buy licenses you have to lease a license it
expires after a few years whatever the limit of time they put on them we were born
with the right to keep and bear arms and no state, no municipality, and deadgum
sure the federal government has no authority to license a right back to us or to
even create or craft any gun control laws and we have put up with this crap long
enough. A lot of states, like I said, have crafted these licensing laws and so
doing that makes them criminals. I want you to look at them exactly that.
They are criminals.
The state of California is run by criminals. That's right. You have to ask
permission from criminals to freely exercise your right to keep and bear arms in the
state of California or in the state of Illinois or New York. And good luck getting
permission Delaware,
which is the other one there, having a brain hiccup here. Yeah, Massachusetts and
Maryland and all those other places. That's what it did. Licensing is criminal. It's
a criminal act. They have no right or authority under the Constitution to license
our rights back to us.
Worse than that, All of those who willingly enforce these illegal laws are also
criminals. Royce, man, you're calling cops criminals. Come on, man. Well,
are they doing criminal things? Are they committing criminal acts?
Ask yourself this now. Is it okay for them to enforce illegal laws?
No. Then they are criminals too. They have sided not with the people,
but with the government that is oppressing the people. What does that make them?
In New Jersey, in New York, in Illinois. What does that make them?
If they are doing the bidding of criminals, what does that them well here let's
let's narrow it now people that work for the criminal drug cartels in Mexico are
they less culpable for the terror and stuff that they pour out upon the citizens
there than the people who are actually at the top nope they're all equally guilty
as far as I'm concerned and as far as the law is concerned too so to Every cop
in America that has ever enforced any gun control law, I mean, without question,
I mean, did you just went along with it? Well, it is the law, so I got to
enforce it. No, you don't. No, you don't. Stand up, straighten your spine,
get some guts, let your testicles drop, and you stand up, and you point your finger
at your state legislators and your state governor, if necessary. and you tell them
we are not enforcing this crap it's unconstitutional we will not follow you in your
criminality we are not going to enforce these laws because we do not believe they
square with the constitution we don't care what court says what we are going to
stand with the people because that's what you people at law enforcement are supposed
to do You understand that, right?
But very few of you actually do. Very few. It's actually a rarity anymore.
When a county sheriff stands up and says, I'm not enforcing this law if it passes.
It's very rare. It does go on, but it's nowhere near as prevalent as those who
willingly enforce gun control laws without a second thought. And when you do that,
you, as far as I'm concerned, you, Mr. or Mrs. Police officer, you are a criminal
when you enforce illegal laws. We didn't grant you a badge and power over our
freedom and even our lives. So you could turn it around against us and enforce
illegal laws, Put our freedom in jeopardy by doing so, or our lives,
for that matter, which, by the way, many people have died because of gun control.
At the hands of police officers, yeah, innocent people, it's happened quite a few
times. You are criminal instruments of tyranny, and you should be stripped of all
your authority. And as far as I'm concerned, you know, how generous I am, you
should be imprisoned at hard labor. That's right. I am sick to death of there being
no
punishments for people in high places and their enforcers when they willingly violate
the law. Now, there are some times where people will stand up and they will get
them for violations of deprivation of rights under color of law.
Yeah, that does happen, but it doesn't happen anywhere near enough, and it needs to
happen more. Every time someone gets arrested for violating a gun control law, you
need to bring suit against that officer and the state and everybody else on up the
chain. And I know what? It takes a lot of money, Royce. Yeah, I know it does. We
need to get something going on that end, too, where we're crowdfunded by keepers and
bearers across the land every time we need to bring a suit against this. You know
what would really kill it, though? You know what would kill every gun control law
right now is if the majority of law enforcement officers in this country would stand
up and say, you know what, we're done with us? We're not going to enforce any more
gun control laws. Pound sand. We're not going to enforce them against innocent
people. A matter of fact, It's already a law that criminals are not allowed to have
guns, so that's not even really a gun control law. We're going to focus our
efforts. We're going to focus our law enforcement efforts on the criminal element,
and we're going to leave we the people alone. Let me tell you something,
law enforcement officers. Without you, no gun control law would have any force at
all. And every last one of them would have disappeared like fog on a Florida
morning by now. But many, way too many of you think it's okay.
Well, the state legislature passed it, so it's got it. Must be okay. Bull
fertilizer. Stand up and be adults. Be big boys and girls.
Put your big boy pants on, put your big girl pants on, read the Constitution
because it is the supreme law. And any law that you're enforcing that violates the
supreme law is an illegal law and that makes you a criminal for enforcing it.
Yeah. Why do you think it's okay to do such things, huh? Because it's not.
And here's the sad part. There's a trend I've been noticing throughout the entirety
of the United States. And that trend is, whenever police officers in heavily gun
-controlled areas begin to willingly enforce gun -control laws against the citizenry,
number one, they always turn their heavy -handedness against the citizenry. Yes,
the majority of abuse of power cases against law enforcement come from heavily gun
-controlled states and cities. I'm going to bring out a study on that soon. But when
you begin to act lawless against the Constitution, that seems to automatically
engender lawlessness against other laws too.
And that's what this episode is all about. See, gun control engenders lawlessness.
Not just on the street level, I'm talking about on the government and their enforcer
levels, too. The fact that millions of Americans are forced to obtain their
governments also vaunted permission prior to exercising their rights, to me,
is glaring evidence that way too many of our current state governments are lawless,
and that makes their enforcers lawless also. The problem with our current governments
is that none of them have been heavily prosecuted and severely punished for
constitutional violations, and that needs to change. They need to start going to
prison for 20 years at hard labor. Either that are public whippings and saltings,
but I'm trying to be nice here. But you remember recently talked about how the DOJ
had to file an amicus brief in a lawsuit against the Los Angeles County Sheriff's
office over their miserable delays in gun permitting and issuing gun permits.
Remember that? Just last episode, episode before, something like that. Well, the,
what does that tell you about them? Okay. What are they doing?
They're being lawless. They were not obeying even their own laws.
Well, what gave them the hoodspot to do that? Well, they've been violating the
supreme law. Why is it a big step to go ahead to start violating other laws too?
Because gun control engenders lawlessness. So an article by Cam Edwards here says Los
Angeles Sheriff's Office settles lawsuit over concealed carry delays. And you remember
we were talking about there how the city of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's
Department and the city of Laverne, California were sued for slow walking the permits
and the issuing thereof. They were prohibiting non -residents from even applying for
lawful carry permits.
to go further and that's exactly what's going on in California so they settled the
city of Laverne they settled their portion of the lawsuit earlier in the year and
now they're trying the the the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department is settling
theirs so California is a perfect example of how lawless police officers become once
they've realized that it's okay to violate the supreme law the constitution and once
they do that they think they can get away with just about everything and that is a
steaming pile of fertilizer now this takes us to delaware delaware uh they had begun
to Chicago -esque. They are copying some of Chicago's licensing schemes and things.
They are going to force American citizens in Delaware to get a permission slip just
to buy a handgun. That sound familiar? Like the FOID card in Illinois?
Well, it should. And I'm referencing an article by A .W .R. Hawkins from October
31st. It said, Delaware State Police Launch Portal for Handgun Purchase Permits.
Okay.
To all of you, Delaware State Police officers,
you're traitors.
Yeah, you're growth breaker. You're a willful enabler of tyranny and oppression if
you go along with this without question and uphold it. Did you hear me?
I'm going to call you this right here. Matter of fact, I'm going to send a copy
of this to the Delaware State Police. If you enforce this licensing scheme,
you are criminals. Well, let that sink in. I called all of you in the Delaware
State Police criminals because you are willfully violating our Supreme Law and you
belong in prison for that. Here's the article, in keeping with the new state
requirements, the illegal requirements, that all would -be handgun buyers first acquire
a purchase permit, you know, just like Chicago and other communist occupied
territories of the U .S., the Delaware State Police have launched a portal for permit
applications. Oh, they make compliance with tyranny so easy, don't they?
Oh, if you just comply, everything will be easy for you. Mm -hmm.
Yeah, I can see the government now. That little meme about that giant standing over
the small man beneath him. And the giant is the government talking to the citizenry.
And he says, if you just simply comply and obey me, I'll protect you.
And the little peon beneath says, protect me from what? And the giant says from
what I'll do to you if you don't comply. That's what this is. You understand that,
right? And apparently the government forgets who the blipity blank they are and they
damn sure forgot who we are because we are much bigger than the government. All
governments of the United States combined and all law enforcement agencies, federal
and state combined, we outnumber you, we outgun you, and most of us can out shoot
all of you. All right? You deadgum well better keep that in the back of your mind.
Better yet, keep it in the front. It might keep you from doing something really
stupid.
So it's called the permit to purchase application portal. The web page is used to
gather personal information. Why should you give up personal information to purchase a
firearm when it's your right to purchase a firearm without going through that? Why
Are you required to violate your own Fourth Amendment protections just to freely
purchase a firearm? And it's not freely if you have to get permission.
Do you think about that? Well, you have to get a permit. All right, what's involved
with that? Give us personal information. But I have a right to be secure in my
person and personal. You want to exercise your right,
then you give us your information, including your name, your address, your sex,
male or female, or the other 72, whatever they are. Oh, your date of birth. Oh,
and you must have an email. Oh, and you must also render your employment status,
including your employer's information. Oh, and race and ethnicity information too.
Just to exercise a right you were born with. Applicants must also provide proof of
having completed a firearms training course and must make an appointment for
electronic fingerprinting. So you have to take time out of your day to go down to
the state police on your own dime and time, so it probably means you have to take
some time off work and use some of your PTO if you have any and go down there
and be electronically fingerprinted. Now, you know what this is? This is an attempt
by the Delaware government to fatigue people out of freely exercising their rights.
That's all this is. Another King Georgian attempt.
Thereafter, applicants must answer the same questions that appear on ATF firearm
transfer form 4473, including a question that asks about illegal drug use,
marijuana use in particular, and the truth about guns, they noted in their article
about this, that the Delaware State Bureau of Identification has 30 days from receipt
of a completed application to issue a decision. Incomplete submissions will be
returned for correction, delaying approval. Yeah, another 30 days. Let me translate
this for you. Delaware residents will be forced to wait a minimum of 30 days for
permission to purchase a handgun. In other words, they must ask permission to freely
exercise the right they were born with, and they must ask that permission from
criminals.
They also pointed out in that article that individuals with a Delaware State
concealed deadly weapon license are exempt from the permit to purchase requirement.
Oh, how magnanimous and gracious of the crown. And W .HYY,
radio station air indicated that certified firearms instructors,
competitive shooters, and hunters with a state safety certification, in other words,
with the state's permission, are exempt as well. Why? Well, because they already have
the state's permission. The permit to purchase requirement takes effect November 16th.
Oh, but Royce, you know, all they have to do is comply. and the state police will
leave them alone, you know. I mean, just go along with the program.
Go ahead and provide your personal information just so you can freely exercise a
right you were born with to purchase a firearm and carry it. What's the big deal?
Well, the big deal is you're asking permission from lawless people. And if they will
violate the Supreme Law, they will violate any other stinking law in America.
You want proof of that? Get your butt back here after the break. And I'll tell you
about what's going on in Chicago, where the police there are absolpity -blanking
-lutely lawless, and they're also arresting lawful.

Let's create your musical identity. Thank you. Welcome back to the program. We've
been talking about asking permission from criminals. In other words, people who
violate the Supreme law, and yes, that does make them criminals, violators of the
people's law, that makes them criminals, and their enforcers who enforce their will
of those tyrants, their will, without question.
And that makes them criminals too. Royce, man, you'd be really hard on call. I
don't care. I am sick of this. I am sick of my fellow Americans being abused by
the government and their enforcers when all they simply want to do is keep and bear
arms like they have the right to do. But the government says, no, you have to ask
our permission. And you do that by giving us money. well you know what that is
that's placation that's placating the bully you want to do this you give me
something and then i'll give you your right back you know what how about if we
just take it you know if we decided to do that tomorrow there would be nothing to
any of you could do about it you understand that right y 'all have a pretty weird
view of how things are in this country and how things uh oh and who the people
are You understand if we stand up tomorrow, you would not have a freaking prayer.
You understand that? You'd dead gum well better let that sink in because that's the
case. That is the truth. When we get tired of this crap, there will be nothing you
can do about it. And now in Chicago, that bastion of lawlessness itself,
I'm looking at a story by J -D -2 -Seal, or T -U -C -C -I -L -E,
and there is a new trend there. Well, it's not new at all, actually. There's a
trend going on there among the Chicago police where they're arresting lawful gun
owners, even when they possess the required FOID card and the also vaunted Illinois
-concealed carry license. They're arresting them anyway. Yeah,
listen to this article. Tell me it's not going to set you on fire.
An investigation by CBS News Chicago uncovered several times when police stopped black
gun owners for, did you catch that? They stopped black gun owners for minor traffic
violations and then charge them with felonies even though they had legal firearms
licenses. What is so terrible about a black American having a concealed carry license
or even a concealed weapon, period? What's so terrible about a peaceable citizen
keeping and bearing arms regardless of what color their blipity blank and skin is?
This is the trend in Chicago. How many times have I said it on this program, the
roots of gun control are racism. That's the root of gun control.
Racism. And that's what's going on in Chicago. More racism.
More racist gun control. So, an investigation by CBS News Chicago uncovered several
times where police stopped black gun owners for minor traffic violations and then
charged them with felonies, even though they had legal firearm licenses.
And that's a statement by Dorothy Tucker and Sama Assad, excuse me, reporting on
October 20th. It said the findings prompted a rebuke from the National African
American Gun Association, good. The ordeal also led to an exhausting toll and
financial strain on the drivers. Okay? There would be no exhausting toll and
financial strain on those drivers if they had not had to go through such an
exhausting toll and financial strain in the first place to freely exercise the right
they were born with. But first you put them through one exhausting toll and
financial strain, and now you're going to put them through another one by arresting
them for complying with the freaking law. While the cops are not complying with the
law, they're not complying with the law of Illinois, they're not complying with the
Supreme Law, and they are violating the law like a bunch of filthy criminals, and
they're putting innocent people in jail for jumping through all the hoops that they
set up for them in the first place. That is criminal. My goodness.
They got valid firearm licenses, but because of their arrests, they spent months
fighting to get the charges dropped and expunged from their records. By the way,
I believe that's intentional. Fatigue them to forsaking the free exercise of their
rights. One of the cases cited, and the story is that of Lewis McWilliams,
the 46 -year -old owner of a cheesecake bakery. On his way to a business meeting,
police pulled him over for a missing front license plate. And it makes a note here
that while the reason the front license plate was missing. They want to point out
that license plate thefts are a major problem there in Illinois. So how would he
know unless he checks his front license plate every time? It's a stupid, stupid law
in the first place. Again, license, you have to get your car license for the
privilege of traveling in one. According to CBS News, police body camera video shows
that after the police stopped him, the first thing he did was notify the officers
that he had a gun in the car. He also presented his valid firearm owner
identification card or a FOID card and a valid concealed carry license.
But the Chicago police claimed that they couldn't find his carry license in the
Illinois State Police Run Database. Hey, how does that make you people in Delaware
feel about the upcoming licensing database there in Delaware,
being opened up by the state police? How do you like that? You feel comfortable
about that? Yeah, a valid concealed carry license could not be found in the state's
database, in the state police database.
They said this shouldn't be surprising to anybody who has ever dealt with government
record systems and their inevitable unreliability. That may be why a spokesperson
within the state police would not comment on specific cases but said if an officer
is unable to check the status of a FOID or CCL, a concealed carry license,
The officer should not take any law enforcement actions as it relates to a potential
FOID or CCL violation. Then why in the blipity blank are they doing it?
Yeah. Now, it's interesting that the heading for this next paragraph states,
Lawless cops and illegal arrest. That's exactly what it is.
If the arrest is illegal, then the person making the arrest is in violation.
And since this is obviously rampant, then I'd say there's a major wave of
criminality sweeping through all Chicago police departments right now. It says,
but Chicago police ignored the valid FOID and the valid concealed carry license and
the guidance that they are supposed to follow to respect the documents and ignore
the database's shortcomings in other words the police have been told you can't rely
on the database go by the valid card and if he doesn't have any felonies let him
go so this these police who arrested mr mcwilliams ignored all that they illegally
ignored all of that. McWilliams was arrested,
held in jail, and charged with a felony. The charges were eventually dismissed,
but his business still suffered because of the missed meeting and his absences while
he fought bogus charges. He still awaits the return of his firearm.
Now,
expect things like this to not only continue but to become exacerbated and elevated
it's going to happen because I guarantee you this is going to spread to other
police departments and other communist occupied territories and they're going to be
using this crap too so this man first had to jump through hoops to free the
exercises right well actually I shouldn't say free to exercise. It's not a free
exercise if you have to freaking lease it from your state. He went through all that
troubles, paid all that money, got the permits, got the FOID card, and yet he still
got arrested for not violating any law.
CBS News notes that Chicago police and Cook County prosecutors refused to be
interviewed. Well, of course they did. Of course they did. They don't want to have
to explain why this criminality is going on. They don't want to incriminate
themselves.
The damage has already been done to Mr. McWilliams and to other victims who tried
to jump through the law's hoops and found government officials unwilling to abide by
their own rules. How many times have I said that on this program? Mr.
Mitt McWilliams said, This shows that no matter how much you follow a system which
they create, they can still deem you wrong.
Mr. McWilliams, they can only do that by violating the law, sir, and they are the
criminals and not you. Phil Smith, who is the president of the National African
American Gun Association, responded to the Chicago police violations and he said it
brings a feeling of outrage, anger, frustration, and oh no,
not again. Those are the conversations and statements that are going in my head when
I hear about another black person being stopped illegally, being arrested illegally
when they've had all their stuff together. Notice how many times he used the word.
Now, here's some more evidence of the racism of typical Democrat gun control.
The CBS story focuses on black gun owners receiving the brunt of these abuses of
authority by Chicago police and prosecutors when it comes to their self -defense
rights. And it seems they're hunting for guns at all cost. In 2023,
Pascal Sabino of injustice watch, which monitors the Cook County court system,
reported that Chicago police searching for illegal firearms made hundreds of thousands
more stops than they reported to state regulators. And in the process,
even in their best year, police found guns in only 0 .6 % of these stops.
Guess were those 0 .6 % of these stops guess where those 0 .6 % of stops were found
or where those guns were found and that percentage of stops on innocent people
people who had jumped through the illegal hoops to freely exercise their right.
As CBS News added, it is nearly impossible to know How many drivers are wrongfully
charged with unlawful gun possession only to have the charges dismissed?
Oh, but the charges were dismissed, Roy, see, so it's okay. The system works. No,
it doesn't work or they have never been arrested in the first place and there would
be no gun control laws that they are prosecuting, enacting, and enforcing in the
first place. The reporters found several other cases, including two lawsuits,
accusing police of violating the rights of legal gun owners in similar situations.
Gee, shocking. Doug Mayhall, president of the Illinois State Rifle Association,
added his two cents. He said, what's happening in Chicago right now should outrage
every single one of us. It does, brother. It does. When licensed citizens are
arrested while violent criminals roam free, it exposes a deep rot in our justice
system. A system that's been corrupted by politicians and driven by anti -gun ideology
under Democrat leadership in Chicago. Amen, brother. You're run by criminals,
and you've got to ask the permission of criminals To freely exercise your rights.
Is it any wonder then that they are criminally acting illegally against people who
jump through all the hoops to get their licenses? It shouldn't be. That was a
rhetorical question, of course, all right? It says the danger happens when a free
society becomes a permission society. Yes, that's right.
When you have to go to the permission board of your government and get permission
dispensed to you by the government. As I've said many times,
people, whatever the government gives you, they can take away.
And usually they take it away before they give it to you or give it back to you.
And they take it away via licensing. Oh, you can still exercise you're right you
just have to pay us for permission to do so that my dear friends is the stuff the
mafia is made of you understand that right hardly shocking that it's happening in
chicago but what the government transforms what right the government transforms into a
revocable permission,
it can easily hem it in with arbitrary rules,
conditions, and other, what should I say, statutes,
and they can add and pile and add new regulations on top of those regulations on
top of those regulations, and that is a typical Democrat communist playbook. The
article continues, ultimately the government can ignore its own, quote, unquote,
generosity and decide on a whim that the people aren't entitled to the privileges
they'd once been granted. Then we end up suffering if we've run afoul of those
powerful people, and yes, they're enforcers. One of the problems with asking
permission is that it violates the principle of equality. Listen,
who has to ask permission?
An inferior has to ask permission of a superior.
You understand that? That means the government and its enforcers believe themselves to
be superior to you.
Slaves must ask permission from their master. Children must ask permission from their
parents. Now, that is acceptable as far as I'm concerned. But to have to ask
permission from someone else typically means either flattering or appeasing that
person, the article says, rather than being treated as equal citizens. All of you in
the Delaware state police, all of you in Chicago police, all of you in law
enforcement in general,
you are not superior to us. We are not inferior to you.
We are not beneath you. We are not required to grovel before you for your
permission to freely exercise our God -given rights. And if you actually think that,
if you actually go along with that, then all I can tell you right to your bloody
face is that you are a crook, you are a criminal, you are no better than any of
the street thugs out there committing mayhem upon the streets of America today.
So it says, Chicago cops should not try to meet demands to get guns off the
streets by arresting people who have jumped through all the hoops to get permitted
and licensed to own and carry firearms. But nobody should have to ask permission,
the government's permission, to own a firearm or do anything else. Government
officials, like cops and prosecutors, are supposed to work for the public,
not flaunt their power arbitrarily. And, as they've demonstrated with Chicago gun
arrests, they are not morally superior to anyone. And yes, amen,
they are not. Matter of fact, I referenced this study before,
we the peaceable keepers and bearers of arms are a far more lawful and peaceable
demographic than law enforcement. Definitely far more peaceable in law abiding than
politicians, but that's kind of like a given, isn't it? Yeah.
Now remember when I said earlier that governments and their enforcers who have no
qualms about violating the Supreme Law by enforcing constitutionally illegal laws will
eventually have no problem violating all other laws too?
Maybe you caught the article about how the FBI recently arrested multiple law
enforcement officers in Mississippi in the Mississippi Delta for drug conspiracy.
They were working for the cartels. How do you like that?
There were 20 people arrested. Guess how many of them were law enforcement? 14.
14 out of 20 of these people were cops. But you think you're somehow above us,
you officers out there? You think you're better than us? You think we're beneath
you? You think you have a right to enforce unconstitutional laws, that is,
illegal laws. You are being illegal yourself when you do that kind of crap. Don't
you sit there and look down on us with your moral superiority or your supposed
moral superiority? You have none. You have none of which to boast at all.
You are not better than us. You are not more morally superior. You are not cut
from a higher moral fabric than the rest of us. None of you, no government and no
law enforcement agency or person and no law enforcement personnel has any right to
enact or to enforce any gun control laws. In so doing,
you make yourselves criminals. Worse than that, you engender within yourselves the
notion that laws just don't apply to you. And then you end up like what happened
in Mississippi. And if you think that's an isolated incident, I got news for you.
So you better stay in contact with your reps. You better stay armed up and trained
up because you will not be able to rely on police when things get sour in this
country and we are headed that way. So you better stay armed up and you better
stay trained up, you better stay stocked up, and you better stay in contact with
your reps, and you better never forget that incoming rounds always have the right of
way. Roy South.
I believe
