KSU Was A Defensive Shooting, Australia Doubles Down

Royce Season 11 Episode 752

Send us a text

First, Royce exposes a YouTube video that makes demonstrably false claims about upcoming 'changes" in Florida Gun laws for 2026. https://youtu.be/lAHI8uqIjLc

Then, once again proving that corrupt governments ALWAYS seize the opportunity to slide downward into tyranny in the wake of mass murder incidents, Australia's government is crafting new laws in the wake of the Bondi Beach slaughter that will take even more freedoms from the Aussies.

Last, the "active shooter" on the Kentucky State University campus on December 9 now turns out to be a defensive shooting by a father who was trying to extract his son from the dormitory because it was no longer safe for him to live there due to threats of violence.

Roy's Bartlett, the keeper in the bearer of truth.
The facts about the Second Amendment. And never, ever forget that all gun control
laws are nothing less than overt acts of aggression against the American people and
their rights. And exercise your rights in a safe way. Stupidity to think that
someone Hell bent on violating the law against murder will magically be stopped by a
gun control law. Politicians that infringe on our God given rights,
he calls him out, he's not here to play.
So turn it on, tune in, crank it up,
voice Bartlett, and the shooting straight show
Let's go! Let's go!
Yes, indeed, let's go. We are locked, loaded, and we are loud.
Welcome to the Shooting Straight Radio podcast. Thank you all for being patient
through the Christmas holiday. I just needed some time off, man. I'm telling you
what. I worked probably 34 days straight, probably because I have three jobs.
And, man, I just needed a break. I pulled away from the mic. I just relaxed for
about three days straight. I literally did nothing for like three days straight.
Didn't move. I sat my lazy butt on the couch. I moved from the couch to the
kitchen when necessary, which was quite often, you know, being the holiday and all.
And then maybe to bed in the evening, but I didn't do a darn thing.
I decompressed and I really appreciate y 'all being patient with me while I took a
little bit of a break. I really needed it. So thank you much. We've got a lot to
talk about as always. And don't forget, you can catch this program on your favorite
podcast platform and if you don't have any platform to listen on shooting straight
radio uh forward slash i'm sorry i misspoke shooting straight radio dot buzzsprout
dot com that's my main website and all the episodes are there make sure you share
them around with your friends and i really appreciate that all right let's get into
things because Mike I tell you what good night I could I could do a five hour
podcast on everything that's going on in the second amendment world but I kind of
trimmed my notes down for brevity's sake nobody wants to sit here and listen to me
yak for five hours and not even my wife so we're going to get right into things
we're going to start in Florida and speaking of Florida don't forget if you live in
Florida. You have until December 31st to buy your guns and ammunition sales tax
free. That is a very significant savings, especially if you're buying a high dollar
item like a maybe a thousand dollar rifle or handgun you've been wanting to get.
Now's the time to do it. If you live in the Bavard County area, make sure you
check out out my sponsors. All their links to all of their websites are on each
episode page. Just click on them and it'll take you right to them. You can see the
goods and the services that they offer there and make sure you tell them you heard
about them on the Shooting Straight Radio podcast. Now, a lot of you in Florida
have been reaching out to me because of a video on YouTube that has made some
pretty wild and outlandish and patently false claims about laws that are allegedly
coming down the pike January 1st, 2026. A lot of you were pretty rattled by this,
and understandably so. When I listened to this thing, I was like, are you freaking
kidding me? Where did this come from? I wanted to make sure that I hadn't missed
something, so I got to researching things out myself, and I couldn't find any of
the crap that they were claiming is happening here in Florida on the 1st of
January. So just to give you a brief smattering of what it talks about,
they're saying that five new laws will take effect January 1st,
2026, and ignorance is not a defense. If you have a Florida concealed carry permit,
everything changes in 2026. No, it doesn't. It says five new laws are now in effect
that could get you arrested. Find thousands of dollars or even charged with felonies.
Even if you think you're following the rules In this video, I break down,
and I don't know who I is. I'm trying to find some actual human beings connected
with this account. It's the Guns Law something or other.
I'm trying to remember what, yeah, I don't remember what it's called, but you can
find it. The link to this is on this episode page. Click on it and you can hear
it. You can watch the video and hear it for yourself. I'm going to be playing it
here for you in just a second. But the gist of it is they're saying that there's
a new mandatory duty to inform law enforcement officers when they stop you in a
traffic stop. That is, you're required, according to this false video. You're required
to inform a police officer that you have a firearm on your person. In some states,
this is true, but Florida is not one of those states. There is no duty to inform.
Now, here in Florida, if a police officer asks you, are you carrying a firearm,
you are required to divulge that and failure to do so, could get you in a little
bit of a pickle. But There is no mandatory duty to inform coming down the Pike Jan
first. Also, they're saying that no carry zones have been expanded and now include
private businesses even without signage saying that you can't carry there.
And the parenthetical advice is you're responsible for knowing which locations are
prohibited. When I first heard this, I was like, this doesn't even remotely sound
correct. And I started thinking, you know, I think most of my listeners, especially
here in Florida, would pick up on the fact that this is a steaming pile of bull
fertilizer real quickly, primarily because they listen to this program.
Yes, they get indoctrinated and inoculated even with the truth and when something
rears its head that is total bull crap well it's easy to spot and this was one of
those things they're saying that also there are 14 states where your florida permit
is no longer valid and crossing state lines could mean your arrest then they say
there's also new security storage requirements when miners are present and if you if
you violate that it's felony charges and devastating civil lawsuits they also said
there's prohibited weapon components that you must surrender to authorities by march
31st 2026 and if you possess them after the deadline you could get five years in
prison per item. Yeah, really. They said critical deadlines are Jan 1 and March
31st, and the final day to surrender prohibited components without penalty.
Florida gun owners are already being arrested under these new statutes right away. As
soon as I heard that, I'm like, that does not even make sense remotely. No one can
be arrested for violating a statute that is not yet in force. They also make a
point here. They say three gun owners in Jacksonville were arrested in December under
early enforcement provisions. There's no such freaking thing.
Oh, but they all thought they were legal. Don't let this happened to you and then
whoever owns this channel gave themselves an out this isn't legal advice and I'm not
an attorney but I've spent hundreds of hours researching these statutes I don't know
how because they don't exist consulting with Florida firearms lawyers and breaking
down exactly what changed so you can stay
um i'm not sure who wrote this or why they wrote it but it has certainly sown
quite a bit of confusion among the ranks of florida gun owners and understandably so
and there's another legal disclaimer oh i just out of what i do here we go where
there it is okay another legal disclaimer This video is for educational purposes only
and does not constitute legal advice. Gun laws are complex and change frequently.
Always consult with a qualified, yeah, qualified indeed, Florida firearms attorney
before making decisions about carry, storage, or compliance. I am not a lawyer.
You're darn right, you're not. You're not even a constitutionally sensible person,
nor, I don't think you, I don't know what drives you to create such a demonstrably
false video. I really don't. So I'm going to play this for you now.
And let's see if I can pull this thing up without messing it up too bad.
Okay, let me make sure, because I am horribly electronically challenged.
Let's see how this goes. Come on. One wrong move with your Florida concealed carry
permit and you're staring down felony charges. Even if you thought you were following
the law, five new laws are changing everything about how you can legally carry in
Florida, starting in 2026, and ignorance won't protect you in Court. Today I'm
breaking down five critical changes to Florida's concealed carry laws that could land
you behind bars or cost you thousands in legal fees. By the end of this video,
you'll know exactly what's legal, what's not, and how to stay on the right side of
the law when carrying concealed in Florida. Here's why this matters right now. These
laws take effect January 1st, 2026. That means if you're carrying the same way you
did in 2025, You could be breaking the law without knowing it. We're talking about
mandatory minimums, loss of your carry permit, and in some cases, felony charges that
strip away your Second Amendment rights permanently. Three gun owners in Jacksonville
were already arrested in early December under an emergency provision of one of these
laws. They all thought they were legal. They were wrong. Let's get into the five
laws you need to understand immediately. Number one, Florida now requires mandatory
notification when you're carrying concealed during any police encounter, and the
penalties for failing to do this are severe. Here's what changed. Florida was one of
the few states that didn't require you to tell an officer you were armed during a
traffic stop or other interaction. That's over. Under the new statute, Florida statute
790 .06 subsection 15, effective January 1st, 2026,
you must immediately form any law enforcement officer that you're carrying a concealed
weapon the moment you make contact. And I mean immediately, before they ask for your
license, before you reach for your wallet, the instant that conversation starts. Let's
walk through what this looks like. You're pulled over for a broken tail light. The
officer approaches your window. Under the old law, you could hand over your driver's
license and carry permit without saying anything. Now, the very first words out of
your mouth must be, officer I'm legally armed I have a concealed carry permit if
you hand over your license first then mention the gun you've already violated the
statute if the officer asks you to step out of the vehicle and you don't remind
them you're armed that's another violation the consequences are not minor first
offense mandatory $1 ,000 fine and 90 day suspension of your concealed carry permit
you'll also be required to complete an eight hour medial training course at your own
expense before reinstatement. Second offense within five years. Permanent revocation of
your permit and a second degree misdemeanor charge carrying up to 60 days in jail.
Third offense. Third degree felony. Up to five years in prison and you lose your
right to own firearms entirely under Florida law. Number two, Florida's... Never worry
about your phone running out of battery when you're out and about. The secret is
this compact device. Have you noticed that wealthy people firearms entirely under
Florida law? Number two, Florida's definition of prohibited carry zones now includes
privately owned properties open to the public even without posted signage and you're
responsible for knowing which locations qualify. This is a massive change that's
catching gun owners completely unprepared. Previously, Florida law was fairly permissive
about carrying on private property. Unless a business posted specific no firearms
signage under Florida statute 790 .06 subsection 12, you could generally carry
concealed legally. That's been completely rewritten under House Bill 1837, now law as
of 2026. Here's the new reality. Any private property that holds a state issued
license for public accommodation, restaurants, bars, entertainment venues, shopping
centers, movie theaters, bowling alleys, even some large retail stores, is now
automatically classified as a sensitive area where concealed carry is prohibited unless
the property owner explicitly posts signage stating concealed carry welcome or similar
language. Notice the flip. It used to be opt out with a no -gun sign. Now it's opt
-in. If you don't see a sign saying carry is allowed, assume it's prohibited. Let me
paint the picture where this becomes a problem. You're at a local restaurant in
Tampa. No signs on the door. You're carrying concealed under your shirt. Under 2025
law, you're fine. Under 2026 law, if that restaurant has a state liquor license,
which most do, it's automatically a no carry zone. You've just committed a second
degree misdemeanor. You walk into a regal cinema to see a movie. No signage. You're
carrying. That's a prohibited location now because theaters require entertainment
licenses from the state. You violated the law the moment you walk through those
doors. Number three, Florida terminated reciprocity agreements with 14 states as of
January 2026, meaning your Florida permit is no longer recognized in those states.
And their permits aren't valid in Florida. This caught thousands of Florida gun
owners by surprise. Florida used to have one of the most extensive reciprocity
networks in the country with agreements covering 38 states. That's been slashed. As
of January 1st, 2026, Florida no longer recognizes concealed carry permits from 14
states. And those states no longer recognize Florida permits. The states that lost
reciprocity are New Mexico, Colorado, Minnesota, Wisconsin, Michigan,
Ohio, West Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Delaware, New Hampshire,
Maine, and Idaho. If you have a Florida permit and you're traveling to any of those
states, your permit is worthless there now. If you have a permit from one of those
states and you're in Florida, you're carrying illegally. Let me show you where this
becomes dangerous. You're a Florida resident driving to visit family in North
Carolina. You've done this trip a dozen times with your concealed carry. You cross
the state line into Georgia. You're still good. Georgia honors Florida permits. But
the moment you cross into North Carolina, you're committing a crime. You're carrying
a concealed weapon without a valid permit in that state. If you're pulled over,
you're arrested. North Carolina treats this as a class two misdemeanor with up to 60
days in jail and confiscation of your firearm. It works both ways. Say you're from
Michigan visiting Orlando. You brought your firearm because Michigan and Florida used
to have reciprocity. not anymore. The instant you cross into Florida with that
concealed weapon, you're committing a first -degree misdemeanor under Florida law.
That's up to one year in jail and a $1 ,000 fine. Your Michigan permit means
nothing here. Here's what makes this devastating. Florida law enforcement has been con
- And I think you get the point by now. I don't think I need to run all 17
minutes of that video. For you to understand, a lot of you are probably already
listening to that and going where did this crap come from matter of fact if you
check florida reciprocity online you will see that that's absolute bull fertilizer and
i don't think any of that's going to happen january first i can find none of that
online none of it so i don't know where this person got this this information from
decided to create this video that is absolute crap. But if you live in Florida and
somebody sends that to you, feel free to tell them, hey, that's total crap and you
shouldn't be listening to it, okay? Because, well, that's just the bottom line.
All right? So, never mind all that crap. I don't, again, why in the world somebody
would
intentionally spread demonstrably false information to gun owners here in this state.
Who would do that? There's only two reasons you would want to do that. Number one
would be to, I don't know, make clickbait on YouTube.
Maybe just get people to hit your channel because you have a very sensational
headline to it. I don't know. Is it for personal aggrandizement and attention?
If not, the only other choice it could be is someone's trying to sow confusion
amongst gun owners here in Florida. Now,
one more little blurb about Florida before we go into the midpoint break,
People, my fellow Floridians especially, we have a nasty little hub of terrorism in
Tampa. A bunch of Jihad Joe's have pretty much claimed Tampa the same way they have
claimed New York City, same way they've claimed Chicago and other communist occupied
territories. Tampa is notoriously a liberal leftist city,
so this does not surprise me, just like Jacksonville and Orlando and Miami. So,
as you know, of course, the leftists are working in tandem with all the Muslims,
and they are doing their best to destroy this country. There's a lot of crap going
on. Of course, I could really segue into something else about some interesting
information coming out of Minnesota, but I think I'll save that for the next
program, but it is very eye -opening. Maybe you could do your own homework on it in
the meantime. Remember those senators that were assassinated in Minnesota?
Do you remember why? Well, because they were voting against extending benefits to
illegal immigrants there. Funny how that works. It's funny also that the assassin,
once he was arrested, claimed very boldly and succinctly that Tim Walsh ordered him
to do that. Now, do we have absolute proof of that? Nope, not yet.
But I said all that to say this, we here in Florida had better start getting ready
to fight the Jihad Joe's here in our state too. This is no longer just some New
York City issue or some Chicago issue or some Los Angeles or Portland or Seattle
issue. This is now an issue in multiple states, Texas especially.
I will tell you right now if Texas Falls. This country is on the verge of being
no more. So we had better do something very dead gum quick. I expect all of you
Texans to start standing up and start forming militias because you're going to have
to do that very soon, I believe. But anyway, that's the word from Florida thus far
on this program. We're going to take a brief commercial time out. When we come
back, we're going to talk about some other areas of the country so don't go
anywhere we've got a lot more to talk about here on shooting straight this is your

Okay, let's shift gears a little bit, and let's take just a brief trip to
Australia, you might, the land down under, and, you know,
governments, they seize upon every opportunity to take more power from the people,
to usurp more power from the citizens. Government, when left unchecked will always
try to separate itself from the citizenry and sequester themselves away.
In other words, they want to be a separate entity from the citizenry, unlike here
in America where the people are declared to be the final authority, not the
government. And, but of course, Australia doesn't see things like that.
They started out as a penal colony, as many of you know. Matter of fact,
my auntie, she was born in England. She visited Australia one time, and they asked
her as she was coming in through customs, are you a convicted felon?
And she said, good Lord, no, I didn't know you still had to be one of those to
get
Yeah, that's my auntie Sally. She spoke a lot of that, you know. Yeah, a great
sense of humor. But they are trying to transform that entire place back into a
penal colony, it seems like, especially if you followed their actions against the
people there during COVID. But it's almost like now,
in the wake of Bondi Beach, that the Australian government is essentially saying,
you know, if we had possessed more governmental power, this shooting would not have
happened, so we're going to seize even more power from the citizenry to ensure,
quote, unquote, this doesn't happen again. Of course, we know that they know that
what they're saying is total crap. This has nothing to do with them wanting to keep
anybody safe because none of the crap they're proposing will keep anybody safe.
So now they want a National Firearms Registry and tighter controls on rapid fire
rifles. Well, I didn't see any rapid fire rifles in the hands of those Jihad Joes
that slaughtered people on Bondi Beach. The one I saw the guy shooting was a bolt
action rifle with a rapid target acquisition site like a red dot mounted on top of
the frame. Yeah, not exactly a rapid fire rifle, but anything they can use to
further disarm the people, which of course tilts the balance of power back in favor
of the Australian government. Now, gun lobby groups and gun dealers are fighting back
big time. They're pushing back and they're not happy about this. This really badly
affects what they're proposing as badly going to affect all the farmers in Australia
who need firearms to keep the predator population in check and not to and defend
themselves against such predators that can kill them and eat them. A pack of dingoes
can eat you very easily, not to mention a crocodile and many other things there.
And plus, they have some of the nastiest spiders in the world, so I would probably
carry a snake shot and a can of raid spider killer on my person at all times.
Good night, they got those funnel web spiders that can kill you very quickly, nasty
things, not to mention some of the vipers they've got there. But they are definitely
trying to seize more power from the people.
Here's three of the things that they're proposing. One is they want to make it an
offense to display symbols in a militant sort of way.
Now, they reference, I like, an ISIS flag, but I guarantee you it's more than that.
I'll tell you why I guarantee you that, because in England, men are being arrested
for waving at British flag, the British freaking flag, the Union Jack,
while these Muslims are taking over streets and praying and being protected and
guarded by the police. The police are arresting their fellow citizens for simply
waving a British flag. This is what's translating into this now in Australia.
They referenced an ISIS flag, but I guarantee you it will undoubtedly include any
patriotic symbolism, you wait and see, you mark my words right now, this is what's
going to happen. Also, they're proposing even more significant restrictions on firearm
possession. In other words, the farmers who used to be able to own 10 licensed guns
are only going to be allowed, I'm sorry, to own four licensed guns.
Why? Were those two men shooting Jews on Bondi Beach?
Were they farmers?
No. They were jihad Joe's. They were evil Muslim scum.
They were from a religion that tells them that it's perfectly acceptable to rape,
to rob, to lie, to deceive and to kill anybody who is not one of them.
Yeah, that's their religion in a nutshell, if you really want to come down to it.
And when I say rape, I mean rape both sexes, young and old, doesn't matter,
they think they have the right to rape you. Yes, men, women, boys, girls,
everything, all right? That's their religion. It wasn't the farmers with 10 licensed
guns, it was two scumbags with two unlicensed. Actually, they weren't unlicensed.
One of them, the dad, I think, owned six licensed guns, whatever. But also,
they're proposing allowing the police commissioner to prevent protests occurring for up
to three months after a terrorism incident. Well, why would you do that other than
to squelch the voices of your own people? That's it. That's it in a nutshell.
That's the only reason you would want to do that. You don't want people getting
ticked off at a particular religion that you allowed to invade your nation.
Yes, how many millions of people are there in Australia who are nothing but wealthy,
godless, terroristic Muslims. No other way to put that. Sorry, I'm not being nice. I
don't pull punches here. It's called shooting straight for a reason.
You, the government of Australia, let these people into your country. You turned a
blind eye as the raping and the robbing and the murdering and the knifing was going
on. And now when these two scumbags, a father and son scumbag duo decided to shoot
up a bunch of Jews on Bondi Beach oh we can't have protests for up to three
months after such an incident why who in the blippity -blank and blip does that
freaking protect anyway it protects the people that they've been protecting all this
bloody time That's who it protects. It doesn't protect Australian citizens,
not at all. So why is it so danged important to disarm the populace for the sake
of public safety? Because here's the thing that leads me to this question. Those
limits will come into effect, those limitations on owning guns from 10 to 4.
Those won't come into effect until Wednesday, next Wednesday.
And, but gun owners will not be required to hand back their firearms and the
proposed government buyback scheme until next year. Okay, why is it so darned
important to disarmed the populace for public safety when you're not going to
implement this program yet. This proves to me, and everybody with the brain of a
boiled cabbage, that this is not about public safety, because if it was, they would
want to implement this immediately. Not only that, they would probably offer some
sort of proof that disarming the people actually works. No,
they want Australia to be one giant gun freeze on might. Yeah. Mm -hmm.
Gun -free zones. You got to love them, right? I mean, here in the States, and I'm
segueing into the next story, here in the States, college campuses and schools are
smaller microcosms of Australia and the UK. Yeah,
where Anybody with the intention to go in there and shoot and kill a bunch of
people can do so without fear of armed resistance, and they have a target -rich
environment filled and packed to the gills with defenseless victims in waiting who
were required to be victims in waiting by law.
Yeah, that happened in Kentucky State University back on December 9th. Do you
remember that? Yes, that was deemed an active shooter situation.
Yeah, the shooting at Kentucky State University, the headlines said they had a
suspect in custody. Well, guess what? That was actually a defensive shooting in that
gun -free zone, and thank God, the man who did the shooting,
totally disregarded all of the signs and everything around the campus that said,
no guns, no, no, bad, bad. Took a gun in there anyway, and good thing he did
because he had to defend his son. Okay, here's the article by Ward Clark.
This is from the day after Christmas, and a grand jury has cleared that shooter
based on self -defense findings. How about that?
You know, just not for nothing here, but maybe you folks in Australia should,
you know, take a page from this man's playbook. A man who obviously said,
you know what, I'd rather be judged by 12 than carried by six. I'd rather be
judged by 12 that allow my son to be killed. I'd rather have a gun and not need
it than need it and not have it. And so he violated state law and campus policy
and thank God he did. And I want you to notice also He was exonerated. Listen to
the article. This is an article by Ward Clark, like I said.
Earlier in the month, we reported on an on -campus shooting at Kentucky State
University in Frankfurt, Kentucky. By the way, one of my sisters actually attended
there decades ago. At the time, two people were shot and one suspect was taken into
custody, as Katie Kierkevich wrote at the time. The shooter,
Jacob Lee Bard, claimed it was a defensive shooting. He reported that his family
members attending the university had been the target of bullying and abuse, and that
a mob of 20 to 30 had gathered when he attempted to remove his son from a
dormitory where he had been staying. One of the students he shot was killed the
other wounded. On Tuesday, a grand jury declined to return an indictment against
Jacob LeBard for the shooting, and he is now a free man. A Franklin County grand
jury declined to indict him after he was accused of shooting two people at KSU
earlier in the month, and he will not face any murder charges after that grand jury
decision. Mr. Jonathan Danks, who was Mr. Bard's attorney, made this statement.
He said, our position has consistently been that he was innocent, that he acted in
lawful self -defense of himself, his son, and his wife, and therefore did what he
had to do. And according to Danks, a crowd of as many as 30 people, some armed
with weapons, gee, I bet you, I, you know, just going to go out on a
guesstimated limb here. I'm going to guess that the people that were 20 to 30
strong were all a bunch of Antifa kami pukes. If they weren't Antifa,
I'm going to guess that they were Islamic jihad. It's going to be one or the
other. I'm going to bet money on that right now even though we don't have all the
facts yet i'm going to bet money on that i'll bet you a dollar against a donut
and it says uh the attorney maintains bard acted in self -defense when the group
attacked um oh i'm sorry they were attacked as the the bard family uh had come
there to move the son out of the dorm room and they were moving him out because
he felt very unsafe with all of the threats leveled against him by this group of
people. Mr. Danks, the attorney said, I know he's feeling tremendous relief, and so
we are very glad now that he's going to be able to be with his family for the
holidays without this hanging over his head. Well, I know he won't have that
indictment hanging over his head, but anytime you have to use deadly force,
that sticks with you. I don't care who you are. Now, I have never had to. Thank
God. I've been in two situations where I was faced with a shooter don't shoot.
Fortunately, did not have to. I had to shoot in front of a charging dog one time,
and the neighbor screamed, you tried to kill my dog. And the responding officer that
showed up knows me and has shot with me and told her flat out, lady, if that man
was trying to kill your dog you'd be burying him right now i assure you so um but
this man had to shoot two people apparently the other 28 scattered but one died now
i don't care who you are that's going to affect you somehow and i think it was
pretty much a blight on their christmas after all but following the announcement
kentucky state university released a statement which reads in part, the university is
enhancing security measures and continuing internal reviews. Where the blipity blank
were those security measures when this young man was being attacked and they were
trying to kill him because they had him on the ground and they were beating him in
the head and that's why his dad stepped up and shot them. Oh,
we're enhancing security measures and continuing internal reviews while taking steps to
ensure our campus environment remains one where all can pursue their education safely.
What do you mean remains that way? It wasn't that way, especially on December 9th.
In accordance with university policies, when conduct within the university's
jurisdiction is found to violate our standards, appropriate action will be taken
through established processes. Oh, they love their processes. That's a lot like trying
to close the barn door after the horse has already escaped and is running over the
hills, okay? My word, oh, we have an established process.
We'll take appropriate action. Okay, what action are you going to take against those
28 surviving people that didn't get shot, who obviously scattered when the gunfire
started? Huh? What are you going to do with them? Let me say,
were your security cameras up and running, or were you like Brown University, where
they had shut their security cameras off so it's not to cast Palestinians in a bad
light. Uh -huh, yeah, you do know that's what happened, right? The article continues,
Mr. Ward says, we should also note that Mr. Bard's family is apparently having to
hide at an undisclosed location due to fears of reprisal. I'm playing,
I'm tripping over my tongue, due to fears of reprisal. I'd be willing to bet those
fears are based on active threats. And the family continues to face safety concerns
following the incident. Mr. Danks also said, the death threats that have been made
to the Bard family, to our knowledge, have not been dealt with. And so the entire
family will be staying in an undisclosed location at this time.
And Mr. Ward finishes the article by saying,
while the matter of this shooting is for the moment closed, there's a larger issue
at stake here. If the appearance of one young man prompts a mob of 20 or 30
people to gather and for a member of that mob to reportedly knock the young man
down and start beating his head against the pavement, which could very easily result
in fatal injury, then Kentucky State University has some serious problems.
This isn't a matter of ensuring their campus environment remains one where all can
pursue their education safely because, as he said, that ship has sailed.
Yeah,
I mean, just I'm trying to wrap my brain around the scene that is in my mind of
all that went on that day. I'm glad Mr. Bard was exonerated, and hopefully there
won't be some overzealous district attorney, some corrupt communist district or state
attorney, that decides to reinvigorate those charges and try to reconvene another
grand jury to make an example out of him that he should have been carried a gun
on a gun -free zone. Don't you doubt me. Don't you think they won't do that.
They would gladly do that. They would gladly resurrect that. And it sure beats going
chasing real bad guys, which are a lot harder to catch, apparently. It's much easier
to prey upon and use your judicial system to prey upon the innocent,
because that's just what totalitarians do. That's just what communists do.
That's what Jihad Joe's do. They punish the innocent and they clear the guilty.
Gee, there's a Bible verse about that. Isn't there? I'll let you Google that for
your own. All right? Do a little study on that. All right, thanks for hanging with
me on this post -Christmas edition of the Shooting Straight Radio podcast. And the
next one will drop Thursday and hopefully have some information about what's going on
in Minnesota and make a Second Amendment application there too. Stay armed up,
stay trained up. Make sure you got plenty of magazines on your person. And never
forget, incoming rounds always have the right of way. Voice out.
